Recipes and Fun Stuff

Our Agents love Alison's Cornerstone Crunch Cake and we thought we'd share the recipe here. 

 6 large eggs

2 cups white sugar

1 cup Crisco shortening

2 cups sifted cake flour

1/2 tsp salt   

1 TBS lemon juice

1 small bottle almond flavoring


Preheat oven to 325 degrees.  Mix all ingredients together and beat at medium speed for 10 minutes.  Pour into greased and floured aluminum tube pan (no Teflon or bundt).  Bake 55 minutes then cool in pan for 10 minutes. Then run knife around sides and stem of pan, invert, and finish cooling.  Freezes well.
